I don’t plan to buy another one any time soon… but what’s the harm in knowing which one I’ll buy next?

Just gotta service the ones I got before I can justify buying another old AF film camera.

Maybe one that actually takes 35mm film instead of 120 or 4x5…

I’m no photographer but I picked up an Olympus OM-1 a few months back to satisfy my latest ADHD hyperfixation. My first and only film camera, but I’m a huge fan, highly recommend. Fully mechanical goodness in a nice sleek form factor. The light meter usually won’t work due to a dead mercury battery that aren’t sold anymore, but modding it to accept modern batteries just requires soldering in a germanium diode in a spot that’s easy to get to.

That’s one I’ve looked at for sure, it’s a nice little camera no doubt!

I got an gen 1 Canon Rebel for $75 this summer.

The only downside is that it’s a gen 1 Canon Rebel. Literally my computer monitor has about the same resolution as the thing’s image sensor. And the aperture range is… Well it doesn’t exactly measure up to current generation DSLRs at all.
