It doesn’t have to be youtube, thankfully there’s Spanish content in most places. Dreaming Spanish seems nice, but yeah, actively looking for it is the hard part.

I’ve been learning Norwegian on and off for a while now but haven’t used it much. I want to make it part of daily life this year and maybe use it more actively. Speaking with natives would be best but it’s pretty hard to do that without living in Norway.

If you have a platform that you check consistently for English content it helps a lot to find material there so it’s just part of your normal media consumption and not a thing you have to actively do. Like subscribing to Spanish youtube channels alongside your other channels. And if you can jump to native content instead of learner’s content it will be much more interesting even if you don’t understand everything immediately.
I have sensitive ears. I don’t hide from fireworks but really don’t get why every celebration has to be so loud. Half of the time it’s not even fireworks but those mini bombs teenagers throw around

I don’t think I’ve ever called a cat by its name. Depending on what they’re doing it’s either “hey”, “pspsps”, or snapping fingers. I don’t think the cats care either. But names are useful when talking to other humans like “Muffin picked a fight with Potato yesterday. Potato won”

Somehow I’ve ended up with 3 laptops. It’s rare to have all 3 on at the same time but it happens.
Of course this isn’t our galaxy, that’s why OP was so kind to add the missing banana for us

Yeah the video doesn’t explain much, just says there is a problem. If you search for Norman Doors there is probably more material out there. We had a presentation with several examples accompanying the video so maybe that’s why it stuck so much.

Most doors are badly designed: https://youtube.com/watch?v=yY96hTb8WgI
A professor showed us this video on the first day of a design class. Now I’m passing on the curse to you. P.S Sinks are even worse.
Lol, didn’t expect to read 5-inch and phablet in the same sentence
Also double click to launch the camera (not on Lineage but I assume most phones do this)
I so wanted an IR emitter when it started becoming popular but it seemed only Xiaomi phones had it and that was too much of a compromise.
Sadly this is a battle we’ve lost. I was angry when I had to give up my first 4.3" phone for a 5" phone. I’m now trying to keep new purchases under 6.2", which would be insane back then, and have just accepted that not all of the screen is accessible and unless wearing a coat you always need a bag just to carry your phone.

This is entirely speculation but the fact that there are active wars in the continent might affect how the data is classified. I don’t know how the article you posted defines homicide. There are some rules here https://www.unodc.org/unodc/en/data-and-analysis/statistics/iccs.html and it seems that deaths during war conflicts might not be counted as intentional homicides. Latin America hasn’t had many wars but had/has many conflicts involving guerrillas, cartels and political groups. Is it possible that many of the resulting deaths are counted as homicides whereas similar violence in Africa is counted as, for example, civil war deaths?
Interesting idea, I’d never thought of that. It would almost change my mind if only different software respected that distinction. There are many forms using toggles and many option pages with checkboxes without a save button.
Ah yeah, don’t you love f-droid’s impossible to read 5-line toasts that randomly appear when something in the background fails?
The colors too. It’s pretty clear where ON is when it’s between blue and grey but when it’s between red and pink who knows which is which. The best would be a label that doesn’t change and the words ON and OFF on either side of the toggle but that looks terrible so nobody does it.
I wonder what “doesn’t provide access” means here. They are not pre-installed? Can you not install any android app on it?
