Never in my life have I thought that there’d be a regime on par with the Nazi Germany in my lifetime. I love history, but when I read stuff about WW2 and what the Nazis did I’m always horrified but some part in my head I always thought “Well thank god that’s over.” But in recent years seeing what Israel is doing to Palestinians, I’ve been experiencing emotions I never thought I could feel. Like, you watch movies for example the Pianist or Schindlers List and as much as it breaks your heart, it’s a movie about the past so you can kind of move on with your day.
