  • The traditional ruling class in Lebanon are clinging to the myth of “Lebanon’s strength [is] in its weakness”. This was enshrined as policy in the 50s and 60s as a way to avoid being bullied by regional powers (Syria, Israel).

But instead of building a true nation for all its citizens, entire regions suffered from underinvestment.

When the people in southern Lebanon rose up to defend the homeland from Zionist colonization, they challenged the existing balance of power.

It’s why we still have Beirut urbanites scoffing at how countries like Egypt and the UAE can make peace with the occupiers, so why can’t Lebanon?

Lebanon must build its strength and military, not only to liberate all occupied lands, but to challenge the Zionist myth of invincibility and Jewish supremacy.

  • And why would they give up their land to more foreigners?

The only just solution for everyone is a single unitary Palestine from the river to the sea, where every adult has a vote, regardless of religion. All Palestinian refugees (including descendants born outside Palestine) have the right of return to their homes in addition to compensation for their losses.

The Ashkenazi supremacist Zionist regime occupying Palestine must be dismantled like other European colonial occupations across the world.
