3·29 days agoGreat. Now I have to move all of my password to another services because of a stupid decision made by a company.
Let me introduce you to… Reynard! It is a gecko based web browser, it’s goal is to make browsers much more usable in older iOS although you still have to sideload it!
As farest as I know this is the first ever browser to use different web engine for iOS, it is insanely cool on-going project!

Privacy@lemmy.ml•A web page that shows you everything the browser told it
1·1 month agoThat’s a cool project but most websites are using JavaScript for tracking, and I doubt most website have the afford to even use CSS just to track someone who doesn’t have JS on.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•A web page that shows you everything the browser told it
4·1 month agoIf you’re referring to browser user agent, then yes it’s trackable but other than that it is useless with no JS cause it can’t access timezone, browser plugin, screen size, font or webgl rendering fingerprints.
Also I don’t use “most browser” like chrome, I mostly use firefox focus or safari for my iPhone running lockdown mode; also librewolf in my personal computer.

20·1 month ago“Yeah totally secure! Just trust me!..” basically
This is LITERALLY isn’t secure; they should atleast make it encrypted. This is just the same as using your notes app as password manager! But it’s microsoft, and they’re willingly giving your bitlocker encryption key to the FBIs for your drives. So I’m not surprised…
Would be real funny if they made a built in Ai with root access for it… Totally not disastrous.
We all learn from our mistakes, that’s why people who previously pirates make an easy guide
