Goddamnit man… these plates make me happy, they’re frigging awesome.

But! If you ever get in this versy situation, find transferware plates. They are classy, adult and still sport gorgeous pictures.

I wonder if there are heat sensitive plates so they look normal but some really goofy pic comes up as you put food on it

Orr… Small enough and then it helps with portion control?

Small plates don’t help with portion control, they help people learn to balance food on top of other food.

Wait, Lemmy instances can censor words like faggot? That’s hilarious if true.

Yep your instance can censor what you see, so im on lemmy.ml and what i see is:

Wait, Lemmy instances can censor words like removed? That’s hilarious if true.

But if i view it from the browser (directly instead of through lemmy.ml) it gets censored.

Meaning that your instance could potentially make it seem like somenody is saying something else, since they effectively edited your comment

That’s even weirder, as some comments here have the “removed” for me and some “faggot” so I assumed it’s just a prank. Scary that an instance can interfere with my own words that way. Deleting a whole comment is one thing, but twisting the words is a whole new level.
