I feel like Pyre doesn’t get enough credit because it’s a weird game, unlike Hades which is more within traditional action roguelike style. Without spoiling much, it is half a visual novel about exiled people doing rituals and organising to make life better, half a game very similar to FIFA or NBA sports games.

It does a lot unorthodox things, such as the story progressing organically in case you lose any match, and letting characters acknowledge their ideologies. It is also has very pretty art and music as that studio has great artists.

I think it might be interesting to leftists in general because

    I played the game a long time ago. It’s a rare game that I own on steam. Thanks to you I might play it again now and focus on the story.

    Supergiant games are nice.

        They have weird lootbox card game mechanics that can lead you to have Messi and Pele on the same team. I never understood it but it makes them a lot of money.
