I am among those few for whom the ENT theme
is enjoyablegrew on them as a result of Stockholm Syndrome.I’m from an outside culture and both me and my so loved the theme from the start. Until they messed up with it and made it upbeat.
Yeah, definitely a skip moment. Same goes for later seasons of DS9.
Wait, the song is what people hated? I get that the episode had bad acting and such, but the song didn’t feel out of place or anything to me.
The song is appropriate for the absurd situation. The gestures vaguely everywhere is what’s disliked.
The song was okay… the first 150 times I heard it.
It has very begrudgingly forced me to kind of sort of enjoy it maybe just a little. But at the moment, trying to recall it is only giving me the Firefly theme, and that is nice, I’ll just enjoy this for a bit.

I’ve done like 3 full watch through of TNG and somehow I have always skipped this episode. I’ve never seen it start to finish.
