For context, afaik UK people sometimes call women “birds”. Similar to “chicks”. Adds another layer to the comic.
UK people would say ‘shat’ not ‘shit’ though.

I’ve always enjoyed “Broad” as a slang term for women.
It’s old-timey & just misogynistic enough that people can’t tell if you’re for real or making a joke.
I like the term broad, but not for misogyny adjacent reasons
