Whole graphics cards market is absolute shitshow and has been for several years now. Piss poor availability, bullshit MSRP prices no one can buy anything at, lackluster performance gains and worst of all, absolutely idiotic real world prices. 1000€ for a somethingsomething 70 card from NVIDIA is just absolutely insane. This is just out of control and this is what will actually collapse the PC gaming industry as whole, not consoles, handhelds or laptops. This greedy bullshit NVIDIA is doing. And AMD is basically forced to follow, they just make their “flagship” few bucks cheaper because they are second best option atthe moment.
