I don’t think there’s any method to this madness. It’s just madness. If this isn’t proof that Trump is mentally impaired and ripe for impeachment, I don’t know what is.
So there was a poll where an overwhelming majority of Americans blame Russia for the war (duh). Shortly after finding out Trump “threatened” Russia without taking any actual measures. Now it’s all good again. It’ll be enough to convince his MAGA orks that he’s not a Russian asset. Putin probably gave his ok for this.
My theory on Trump is that the guy bullshited everyone all his life and now, although all his words are scrutinized, continues bullshiting out of reflex.
I think he’s just plain senile, but still functional and not at the dribbling stage yet.
