Hey fellow gamers,

Just wanted to drop a quick post — I’m currently looking for a few extra mods to help out with thus community.

I started this community to create a fun, welcoming space for queer gamers to connect, share games, memes, and support each other, as well as give the Users of r/Gaymers a place to go, if anything were to happen to the Subreddit.

It’s been great to see folks trickling in, but the sad truth is… I’m stretched a bit thin.

I moderate a ton of other communities across Blahaj and other accounts, and it’s starting to get a little overwhelming.

My Mental Health isn’t doing so great, either.

If you love queer gaming, and want to help keep this space chill, inclusive, and active, I’d love to have you on board!

No prior mod experience needed — just be engaged, and aligned with the vibe we’re trying to create here.

    I can help. I was thinking about creating a gaming community on Blahaj (I didn’t notice this community!) after posting my gaming stuff on the popular communities. Can as well contribute to the existing one.

    This account is new but I’m on Lemmy for longer - my prior main @enemyofsun@lemmy.blahaj.zone is almost 1 year old.

    I’d be willing to sign up for that. I haven’t moderated anything on Lemmy yet but I have some mod experience from other platforms, and I check Lemmy frequently.

    I can help out! i’m active a lot, though not always online 24 hours a day, just frequently. I moderate a community of my own despite no prior experience. i can help out, I’m also bi.
