I want to switch from my current gmail address so I thought it might be worth it to finally get a custom address for portability reasons

However I have no idea which service to choose Most of all, I really want to find a solution from EU, in particular that doesn’t involve any kind of USA companies

      Thanks a lot, unfortunately Porkbun wasn’t useful for .it domains, so I ended up using INWX and Tuta as mail host, it seems to work well

    are you looking for a domain registrar or an email provider?

    for the email, i recommend mailbox.org or Tuta (both in Germany). maybe not Proton — i was going to use a custom domain with them myself, but discovered it’s way too pricey.
