After Google failed to find something yesterday, I tried Duck Duck Go to see if it would do better. Not only did it also not find what I was looking for (which probably doesn’t exist), it additionally turned up a loosely-related result, in the form of a website called “Goyim TV”. It’s a pretty grotesquely antisemitic video hosting platform. It replaces the “like” button with a Nazi swastika and the “dislike” with an extremely racist caricature of a Jewish man.

If that wasn’t bad enough on its own, the website also seems a haven of copyright infringement. The result that came up for me in search was a YouTube video that I’m pretty confident was not uploaded to this platform by the creator.

I used the three-dot menu to report the site, but right now the link is still appearing. Is this something that DDG generally allows, or does it just take longer for them to get around to addressing the problem?

Duckduckgo seems to be the search engine for spiteful / hateful people. If you try to find anything related to Palestine, all you get is zionist propaganda.

I just tried this and I am not seeing the results you’re talking about. I just searched for the word “Palestine” in DDG and I see a bunch of reputable sources with pretty objective summaries. Both for the main search and the news search.

Yes, extremely general results will be available if you look for just the word “Palestine” look up anything on chants, slogans, organisations in your region in support of Palestine, and you get results like this:

        https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Pgnl

“Dutch based organisations with Hamas ties” including a hitlist of people and who have already been liquidated

        “Hamas ties to Amsterdam pogrom”

        “Hamas linked organisations behind…”

PGNL is the Palestinian community in the Netherlands, but most if not all information on the front page is hasbara propaganda.
