    Interview prep is complete.

Time to chill and wait till 7pm.

    Fingers crossed!!!

Edit: you guys are the best. Thank you ❤️ regardless of outcome it’s practice which I’m going to need.

I’ve created a timetable to structure my days between gym, applications and increasing my IT knowledge with some time aside for music and gaming on weekends.

I am so, so fucking glad I am not on suboxone right now. The difference in mindset is night and day.

Got back down the beach last night. Needed the break (again). Ol’ girl is heading to the dietitian today had to reel out all the shit that’s going into the soup she eats to ol’ boy over the phone… He got a bit frustrated as it’s a fair list lol.

Still seems like I’ve only managed to keep her weight stable (or not dropping as quickly). Taken way too long to get even just to here which is very concerning. The only thing I can control is what goes in the soup. Can’t control volume or frequency.

    But…

Resident magpie has been bribed ✔️

Oxalis is looking dead af ✔️little bit more to go but so far so good.

Council or whoever has lopped a bunch of things that were too close to wires so a nice surprise on the nature strip for extra mulch.

So little bit of wfh today then grinding up wood (which is actually very relaxing given how violent the mulcher is).

Look at it this way, even maintaining a stable weight when someone doesn’t want to eat is an achievement.

I’ve cut down on bread, cigarettes, cappuccinos. Snacking is non existing except for fruit, nuts and cheese on the rare occasion. Sleep, energy and motivation is excellent. I feel on top of the world and I’ve lost a couple of kgs.🙂

    Also vertigo is stable.

Getting match fit for menopause. 💪

The side door of my van froze shut! It sucks having to defrost before you can go home (night shift). I’ve scraped the windscreen and dumped a few bottles of water over the ice and the water is refreezing.

I also applied to the old companies direct competitor. There’s only 2 companies that do that particular work so I wonder if I’ll hear back.

First hairdressers appointment in 4 and a half years booked for tomorrow… and I’ve come down with a cold. I feel bad for postponing, but I’d feel worse if the hairdresser got sick.

I still sometimes chuckle remembering the lines around the corner when the rona hairdresser restrictions lifted. The one near me was easily a hundred metres or so for a few days in a row. Wasn’t so funny for the hairdressers though.

Ah covid times when the man asked me to shave his head. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I think we all became closet hairdressers then.

Mulch almost done. Probably wasn’t worth the time being honest, better off just ordering it in. The real bugger was cutting it and trying to stuff it in the mulcher. Satisfying though. All up that gave maybe 2 - 2.5m^3. It did smell nice. Guess the other thing is that I know what’s in it. Big block so I’m thinking I need another 8-10m^3 minimum.

I think knowing what’s in it has more value than you realise, remember the playground asbestos scare? I love not having to chop it down for the green bin which feels like such a waste of time and hurts my hands.

ooh I remember the asbestos thing. Yea I think you’re right. The landscaper who did the place maybe 8 yrs ago brought in a whole lot crappy soil / mulch and created a nightmare. When the soil tests came back it was wild. Took so long to get back under control.

I’m always disappointed when a pile of pruning is lucky to fill the wheelbarrow after a trip through the mulcher attachment, such a let down!
