I think it was always EA, but I see how you could think the logo represented 3 letters. But yeah, back when that logo existed EA was a great company.
Ya, my young self assumed that the logo was ECA stylized into the square, circle and triangle and it was for “EleCtronic Arts”. I was more interested in playing the games (soooo many hours spent on Starflight) than learning about the company.
I remember playing this on Windows 2000.
I still remember the one game where I managed a score in the millions. Good times.
