Then a bit of work, finish early, father’s day time at the childcare centre. A nice write-off of a day productivity-wise.

The father’s day morning teas I attended when my kids were in primary school, are some of the fondest memories I have from that time.
I also felt bad at the kids who’s parents couldn’t attend. My kids’s reactions to me just being there, still brings a smile to my face.
That’s why I made the effort to get into work early to go. They may be too young to remember but they’re old enough to know if something’s off on the day so I need to turn up.
Even if they don’t remember, you will. I have yet to regret spending time with the kids.
Feels like -3.2o outside. I am informed all cars in the carpark are covered in ice. Which means I have to sit in my car defrosting for a while before I can go home 😭
