Is there any problem with this site / host? Its been slow / not working earlier today?
Also, I think this may be a bug … I had a test ‘federated post’ that I deleted.
Now the post has gone, it makes the World page on this site hang when it doesnt find it
eeeee we have “I’m under attack” enabled on CloudFlare.
It’s in response to AI crawlers, or potentially a DDoS. Not sure.
Either way it’s taking down this site when the traffic floods in.
Ok, just as update World is working now. Whatever was making it hang on that deleted post has stopped, and its back to normal
Spoke to soon, ‘Access denied’ image returned on World, but it coincided with site running slow again - so possibly connected? Is this Cloudfare feature worth the trouble?
eeeee /world hanging (but the rest of the site being accessible) sounds like an issue with the site, not with CF…
Other pages work ok?
julian yes its odd error. I made a federated post on my own site, viewed it from here Since deleting that from my own site, sometimes when going to World on here, it got stuck still trying to show that post. Its not doing it again now. Intermittent bugs - the hardest to track down !
