He really slotted right in as Bukayo’s deputy, lowkey probably the best signing so far.

Gyokeres’ goal today shows what we’ve been missing, a poacher like him. Gabby J was supposed to have been, but his damn knee 😭

Also the Sociedad boys are amazing.

There are so many good talking points for this game. We looked pretty solid all-round, goals and a clean sheet.

Mosquera has been so so good (what a fantastic transfer), Raya did well when called upon, Eze oozes class even though he didn’t find the back of the net, Gyökeres getting in good positions, Madueke being dangerous again, Nwaneri seemed solid, Trossard doing Trossard things again (I think there’s a stat that his our highest or next highest player next to Saka for goal contributions. Freakin’ love the guy), a fucken brilliant out-of-nowhere goal from Zubimendi, Timber being a bulldog on crack, Calafiori popping up everywhere, Merino continuing with good form.

Just so pleased.

Love to know why Peacock seem to rarely get the rights to show our PL matches live these days. It’s getting annoying.

Good result. And it looks like we could have scored more. Mosquera seems like a real gem of a centreback. And good to see Eze on the left. Still finding his feet a bit, but that’s understandable.

I really hope Odegaard’s shoulder is okay. That looked like a nasty landing, and on the same one he did in a few weeks ago too.
