A spokesperson for The Magnum Ice Cream Company, which is being spun off from Unilever, said it was grateful to Mr Greenfield but disagreed with his stance.

    Lol. God, fuck these people.

Agreed, they however own a LOT of brands. It’s one of those companies that turns up when you trace a random brand to it’s ultimate parent company. It’s similar to Pepsico and Nestle, just terrible companies that gobble up brands and avoiding them gets really hard.

At the same time you are in the position to cost them a lot of money because they own a lot of brands. So a single person boycotting of all their brands can cost them thousands of dollars.

Check out the app No Thanks. It has a barcode scanner and flags any product owned by a company that contributes to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

      Unilever is one of them.

Using the app has been interesting, actually. I’ve found myself shopping more locally, and in specialty stores rather than stores where I can get everything. It’s been a really helpful experience all around, and I recommend giving it a try sometime
