I’ve always wondered about cookie consent. After arriving at a website, are the cookies in suspended animation until you click ‘reject’ or ‘accept’. It would seem that session cookies can’t help but already be on your HDD, however, 3rd party cookies might not be until you click ‘accept’ or pick and choose which ones you want to keep. I’ve never really done in depth research on cookies on my HDD. I have ‘Strict’ and ‘Max Protection’ settings in Firefox, and I use Cookie AutoDelete set to delete all cookies after 1 sec. This might be an exercise to explore on my network.
I declare this very good.
Great resource - very accessible 👍
Huh. I’ve… already done everything on the list. Very slowly, over the better part of a decade, piece by piece. It’s nice to have a sanity check to know I’ve kept up with the jargon. The work is never done tho, almost have a site-to-site intranet set up to make it easier to loop family in.
Love it. Simple and clear with concise instructions.
On my phone, this page has a black background and very dark gray text. It is a nightmare to read.
It appears to be because I’m running NoScript. Turning it off for the domain made the text white. I’m not sure why the site needs Javascript to be readable.
no idea - it’s a Ghost blog so they must have requied that, which is lame…
