One of my absolute favourite songs: “Scent of Death” by doom legend Solitude Aeturnus.
IMO the best doom metal band of all times what can be credited to 50% to their gifted singer Rob Lowe.
Solitude Aeturnus have only published classy albums and mostly got better every time. To realise at some point that they would not be able to maintain this quality quitting to publish new material. Pity, but I’m sure that even helps in becoming legendary.
Epic doom metal with divine singing, depth and melody en masse.
Fucking love these guys and this song especially. I don’t think anything will ever top warning’s watching from a distance for me in terms of doom, but these guys are pretty close.
Yeah, that one is really doomy.
