Mmm, cozy crack in the sidewalk
meanwhile potatoes (they don’t even need dirt):
I had an orchid that I cared for all year long, waiting to see it bloom. I watched with anticipation as the stalk formed and buds grew and swelled.
I checked it each day. Will it be today? No. Maybe tomorrow.
Finally it was time. I was sure it would bloom the following day.
When I woke up the next morning and checked on it, my cat had bitten the stalk off. He didn’t eat it. Just bit it off and left it laying there dead.
My kitten chewed all my lithops… Yeah apparently looking like minerals is not a good defence against animals that will try to bite anything
I had one growing in my gutter in the middle of winter, where temps were often freezing. In the end, they came and cleaned the gutters.
