I can’t use my phone with Samsung’s newest update. I get a (super slow) welcome screen with animations that takes ages. Then unresponsive buttons to skip their Samsung account screen. Who designs these things at Samsung?? Then accept their “”““Advanced AI””“” I don’t care about. Then I’m sent back to the welcome screen where I can stare at their terrible crossfade for a few seconds.

Does Samsung hire QA people? Do they have any competent designers?

The whole flow is annoying enough without getting sent back to start every time.

    You can get past this by booting in safe mode (turn device off then hold volume up? (might be down, idr)while turning back on)

    But once you’re back in, prepare yourself because other shit will be broken.

    All my homescreen widgets are gone and I can no longer reach my local servers.

    It’s definitely this update that has changed something, because this is the only device that cannot reach them. I can use mobile data and connect via twingate, but if I’m on the same network, nothing.

    I will never buy another Samsung phone, I vow it.

      Yea Samsung has turned me into a huge Samsung hater with all their bs the past years.

      Never getting or recommending a Samsung product to anyone.

    Doesn’t sound good, thankfully I have updated my S25 & S23 without any issues, skipped all the Ai bollocks. OneUI 8 should have been 7.1, its pretty much the same…🤷🏻‍♂️
