    Always nice to have options.

    FYI, on Windows and KDE (probably other DEs as well), you can press Super+. to open an emoji picker.

      Yes it’s a bit superfluous at the moment but the next step is to add community-specific and instance-specific custom emoji in there too.

        It’s still useful. You can’t guarantee that someone will have access to an emoji picker. I don’t think it’s built-in to the DE I’m writing this comment in.

    That’s awesome, I hope a button for creating spoilers will be added some time as well 🙏

    Cool!
    And also interesting, as PF seems to be intercepting the common group of emojis and substituting slightly different, cleaner ones. I think I prefer them, really.

    For example:
    0IbmFtU3FaPKiWm.png --> 😅

    [size is an illusion]

        In fact, I’ve been pulling them off the web and pasting them as needed (I’m not a huge emoji user).

        Yesterday, the one on the left, when pasted here, looked the same here as from a general browser search. Today, it now looks like the one on the right(!) So I naturally assumed it was related to the new emoji functionality on PF.

        You should be able to test and confirm that with any number of common emojis from the web.
