I have seen articles claim Halo was planned to be ported to the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2, but there have been no actual confirmations on the validity of those claims, and no game files of any builds, beta or otherwise, contain information regarding a console port other than Xbox. Neither does the data that got leaked when 343 shunted the DigSite team.
There is no official evidence to support the claim that Halo was planned to release on anything other than Macintosh prior to June 2000, which was then switched to be an Xbox exclusive release.
