I’m definitely a masochist, but good gravy that must be ruthless. Every playthrough at that level for me reminds me of surfing in Costa Rica (and tbf, I suck at surfing.) Legit legit respect.
OK, let’s compare notes then. First 24 for me is find a fertile patch of grass preferably near an abandoned structure. Get at least 6x6 rice up, use wood to patch holes in structure and build a bed and fire. Next day utilize a natural choke point on the map and get a few traps up. By that point something is usually going mad or somebodies raiding. Or is it day one shit on that setting? Like, do you crawl out the pod and immediately start fighting a rabid sea otter?
Nice, that’s cool. Yeah, seems like a good plan. Mods like Embrasures and Giddy Up! definitely helped me a lot when I played; I don’t know how I would’ve survived without them. Mobility is key, I would say. I think RimWorld is hardcoded to send only one guy for the first raid, so don’t worry too much about that, but the second raid is much harder, haha. I played with Cassandra Classic—Randy is too random for me xD
