Why do humans mature so slowly anyways? Compared to nearly every other animal, it’s crazy slow!
Because we’re smart as fuck by comparison. Like have you ever seen even a fully grown deer playing Minecraft? A 5 year old can human can play Minecraft. Don’t see no horses doing potential differential equations, heck even a pretty immature human can be taught integration. You should see fish trying to assemble iPhones, they absolutely shite at it.
We’re social animals with big brains. Other great apes, elephants, whales, even some birds like parrots and corvids mature slower.
We rely less on our instincts and more on what we learn from the previous generations, and that takes time.
Because we’re K strategists in the extreme¹. The evolutionary strategy is to adapt and make the best of every offspring by making humans individually adaptive and adapted. That requires a lot of experience and input that doesnt come from a uterus, and that takes time; input bandwidth is limited and it needs to be contextualized, organized.
¹excepting Christians and those culturally influenced by them, who go pretty hard R with it.
Because there is no war in your country. Look at countries where is war and how fast children mature.
The guy in the picture is gross, but he almost has a point. Its not unusual to see a guy dating someone thats around 5 years younger than them, and its my speculation that that is because theyre mentally in the same space.
Though the lady has a bunch of valid points, if you have a specific age requirement and the job is largely measured in maturity, your best bet is going to be a woman. Theres also a weird duality here, where the most educated women i know are some of the best speakers and presenters i know. It leads me to believe that women are just better at presenting ideas. But also, the worst speakers and presenters i know are also women, but theyre older. Makes me think that women, despite being more naturally inclined to effective communicaiton, used to have that hampered, presumably due to lack of education due to patriarchy.
Basically, hell yeah women should largely be in charge under a political meritocracy at a given age. Dating women in a different mental stage than you, particularly younger, is gross.
I can agree with mental age and a difference of 5 years, provided both are out of school. A 20 year old with a 15 year old is dodgy af though.
But also, and this is based on real life shit that I’ve seen said on the cesspool that is mainstream social media, this guy is definitely talking about being 30+ years old and preying on women fresh out of school or grooming on social media even before that.
The more maga manosphere religious conservative they are, the more open and honest they are about this shit.
The guy in the picture is absolutely not enamored with the emotional maturity of younger women. In fact, rather the opposite - he wants a woman so young that she doesn’t have the experience and context to recognize him as a predator and a parasite.
