On one had, Sunderland played their game plan well, took their few chances and it was a very hard place to go to…so it’s an OK point to take home. On the other, we can see where we could have prevented the goals and made tactical switches to better close out the game. On balance, I’ll take the point.

Feel like Arteta could have ended the match better with subs. Feel Eze’s energy was low near the end. Could have added Hincapie and Norgaard to safeguard against potential reds for Zubimendi and Calafiori.

But it always easier to talk in hindsight, especially for somebody not actually in the game. Lucky with a point because they made things tough.

Now let’s hope we get Martin, Viktor, Kai and Noni on the bench against Spurs and come out the international matches unscathed.
