Got this tank for free from my brother so I’ve been creating a nice little community tank. I’ve got a betta (probably male I think), 4 green catfish, 1 black mystery snail, some ghost shrimp, some guppies and cherry shrimp also from my brother.

Looks nice, a little red from the wood, and a little green from a bit of algae. Got the light on an 8 hour timer now rather than it’s built in day simulator. (The picture is more red from the light doing a sunset.)

I’ve had some neons show up dead after putting them in a few days ago, my impatient ass went to two different stores to get the number I wanted so now I have to just guess if it’s the stores or if my betta specifically hates the neons. Other fish are doing fine and the shrimps and guppies have been with the betta for like a month and a half.
