I recently finished my second Satisfactory play through.

On my first play though I spent a lot more time redoing things, reorganizing, and rebuilding. Also a lot of time trying to work my way out of corners I had painted myself into.

On my second play through there was still some of that, but far less. Mostly it was planning, building much bigger, and decorating.

For anyone considering a second play through i’d recommend it. I felt like I got a lot more out of the game the second time.

Did you make any adjustments to the game for the 2nd play through, or was it vanilla?

How was having to recollect all the hard drives, sloops, and spheres? Those are the things that daunt me most as I’ve already explored most of the world, so those searches feel much less satisfying.

I did start a second play through where I unlocked all alt recipes and that made it more interesting for me since I had new ways of doing things from the get go.

I played it vanilla on the 2nd play through too. I only added a couple mods at the end to help me hide the UI and fly around to make the video.

I didn’t mind re-collecting drives, sloops, and spheres again. On my first play through I was sort of rushed and disorganized about it & stayed mostly just in the south and west zones zones. This time I was everywhere, so it was nice to see more of the world.

I didn’t get all the alts but I got a lot more on my 2nd play through and came to appreciate what a big difference some of them make. Cast Iron Screws was big.

Did you get more into drones and trains the second time? That was a big difference for me. From 6 trains on the first play through to 29 on the second. Trying to make all the rail lines look OK was sort of tedious… But the second world looks a lot more “alive” with all those trains barrelling through it.
