    King moves first…

Pretty sure id follow-up by eating the Q for the trade though instead of the knight?

Still ends in mate with that black follow up. Good puzzle.

I think this is correct. If they take the knight with the rook, you move the queen to the bottom corner. Otherwise you move the knight to finish the mate.

    Isn’t Qg4 mate in 1?

H5 pawn can then capture the queen.

What if black does Kxg3 instead?

You’re right! My solution is incorrect.

I think then that it’s probably

        Tap for spoiler

Ke3 followed by multiple possible move 2s that take advantage of the double check.

Can’t you just do the last move only?

No, that was my first idea as well, but the black rook could then check the white king, so it’s an illegal move from white.

I don’t get it. I checked the analysis for the solution, and it said

Kf8, and then black moved Nxg6 leading to the mate. But what if instead black moved Qxf3?

The bishop d8 and the knight give check. The queen can only take the knight.

I moved the white knight to put the black king in check with both the white knight and the white bishop. I don’t know chess notation.

As I was quite rightly told, that’s illegal as it would put you in check.
