For this claim, the Gov of BC says they will back $150 million in loan guarantees. There was a $35 mil industrial compound under development which lost its funding from a traditional lender, so thats part of it. The rest is for mortgage holders of homes who may be affected, and et al, I don’t have all the details. The story is developing.

For the record, I completely disagree with the framing in the article. I think this is an excellent decision by the court and I hope that sets a precedent for more land reconciliation.
