Simple question - I’m finally getting an RSS reader running and I’m looking for good content feeds. Does the android community have any recommendations?
- Android Authority, 9to5google, and Droid life - I think just one of those is enough as they overlap a lot.

- The only Android specific feed I follow is Android Police. - Out of curiosity, what RSS app are you using? - Newsblur right now. I don’t want ads, and I like the f-droid disabled the intrusive options from the playstore. - Any other reader recs? Not married to it by any means, I like it well enough. I don’t like that I can’t browse by folder or by everything without a premium subscription though. $99/year is extreme for my uses, wish there was a more palatable option for intermediate users. Still, it’s easy enough to jump between topics. - I use Feeder. Minimal, but has everything I need (feed groups, bookmarks, offline downloads). Open source with no ads or tracking from Play Store or F-Droid.
- I’ve been using Feeder for a while now and really like it. It’s free, has a simple but solid UI and all the features I want in an RSS reader. It’s available through F-droid, the play store or you can get the latest APKs from the GitHub project.
- It helps to know if you’re necessarily looking for a hosted service like Newsblur, able to self-host one on your own server, or just use a standalone client that runs on your Android and doesn’t need to sync with anything else. - FeedMe & gReader are my preferred readers for hosted services.

- +1 for Feeder someone suggested below. - Thanks, I’m downloading it now!

- I have signal, torproject, asahilinux, thisweekingnome, the guradian, reuters set up - although I don’t read on my phone as its too small, instead I use my LINUX laptop with newsflash reader app
