Hey!
I am trying to switch away from my Samsung Calendar (not because of Samsung as much as because I can practically only synch it with the Google Calendar).
Any recommendations?
I am working now with Tuta Calendar, but it lacks some features. For example, I cannot customize the time of the reminder (there are only five options to choose from). Also, it is not too easy to copy the events, which makes putting the same things manually every week sluggish.
Or maybe somebody knows how to tweak Samsung calendar to accept calendar synch with an open-source protocol?
I’ve used Fossify Calendar synchronized with a Nextcloud instance

Yep, I’m using a Pi3 for my DMZ services… Radicale barely registers on the CPU
Thanks! I got Etar and DAVx5, though with a Nextcloud server.
Thanks! I got it set up now (⌐■_■) And trying out Etar as well!
Awesome!
Etar is the best calendar app out there, in my experience. And as others have said DAVx5 is the way to go for calendar synchronisation.
This is the setup I ended up using back when I was on stock Android, and it seems to be the default now that I’m on /e/. Has worked well for me at least for a few years.

I’ve been using a aCalendar for many years, it just present the calendar in a better way https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.withouthat.acalendar
