Nice! It’s good to see something like this that isn’t AI. It’s depressing to have to check so often anymore.

This last week or so, I’ve seen a ton of rescues and bigger wildlife photographers doing AI caricatures of themselves with wildlife and having fun with it. I don’t begrudge them a good time, but I’m also subbed to them because I trust them to not be using AI and misrepresenting wildlife. Once they start to promote it, now I have to be on the lookout for it all over again.

I’ve played with AI image generation a bit, and for me as a newb, all my results looked fairly random, but these all seem to have a particular style, so perhaps it is a single person “gifting” these images to the people, but at least a few have made it seem like it was their experiment. Sigh…

I do try to entertain you guys, but I also want to share education in wildlife, but since I just do this as a hobby, it becomes a lot of work to have to scrutinize things so much. I really miss a (relatively) honest Internet. 😮‍💨
