They were so brilliant in these roles. It was somewhat scandalous at the time, because they showed how this on screen married couple not only loved each other, but actually had the hots for each other!!! This was during the days when TV spouses were portrayed as sleeping in separate beds.

They’re the most genuinely supportive and kind characters I’ve ever seen on TV.

And yes, even that look she gives in the credits is something.
