The relationship isn’t dead, it’s just going through a tough time right now. Half of Americans never voted for Trump and are appalled by all that’s happened. They’re poised to take their country back from all the MAGA insanity, starting with the midterms and over the next few years to follow.

I hope they can take their country back but the way I see it it’s going to be long and bloody before they do. What has begun now cannot be fixed with elections (especially when they can be rigged).

Maybe not “dead” but it is permanently broken.

Also, get the numbers right. Two thirds of Americans did nothing to keep Trump out of office.

The midterms have not happened yet. We will see.

Except the US is not one person. It’s a bunch of people, some of whom you can call abusers, others would better be called friends and family.

If someone in your family is in a relationship with an abuser do you abandon your family member to their fate with the abuser?

What were the orange baboons demands, wasnt it simply that we end supply side management, and food inflation stops being the fastest in the G7?

Who are these cartel benefiting, and how do I carve out my own government granted monopoly?

The idea that Trump would stop at what he “simply demands” today once he gets satisfaction is so naive that it’s almost cute.

That remark was so outrageous that it only took two days of polling data for Poilievre to find out that he disagrees with it.

    Oh, I’m sorry.

The country that says they want to annex us, declared economic warfare, is trying to force shared industries to leave, and have thrown unlawful tariffs at us over fake emergencies is perfectly fine.

We’re all just over-reacting! Maybe if we all just get on our knees and they’ll be nice to us again!

The bridge was already half owned. Built by Canada and offered with 50/50 shared ownership. Trumps tantrum was smoke and mirrors.

We already gave them half the bridge so it would get built.

Their corrupt billionaire class is blocking it because they won’t get the tolls from this one.

The US is blatantly corrupt and they’re losing out on economic value of it doesn’t line the right pockets. That’s how empires die.

That’s not conservatism anymore. What would you name a political party that’s entirely centered on inviting a foreign, even adversarial neighbour to seize control of the country, either economically or in its entirety? Genuinely asking.

Law of Unintended Consequences - More federal PC members are going over to the Liberals because they can n ot tolerate what is happening in their own party. Soon Carney will have his majority.

I was just thinking the same thing. Maybe PP can chase enough of his members away that we won’t have to have an election in the spring. Not a big fan of floor crossings either way, without a mandate from their constituents.
