Wanting to avoid using Google or any AI service online, I want to ask if I could get some help translating my English post into German as I want to use this as an excuse to motivate me into learning German.

Anyways the text I want to learn how to translate is:

Roman aka Der8auer, owner/founder of Thermal Grizzly products, got scammed out of €40.000 by placing raw material orders in China and has made this video to alert people to be more aware that these kinds of situations can happen.

  • Is aka (Also Known As) alis?
  • What’s the differneces in: Unternehmer Geschäftsinhaber Geschäftseigentümer?

aka == alias, yes. You can also use the long form “auch bekannt als”.

Geschäftseigentümer is not really used, the other two are more common. Geschäftsinhaber would be someone who really owns a company, while an Unternehmer holds a stake, no matter how large, in one or more companies.

      Thanks for the translation help!🙌

As Der8auer, alis Roman, actually does own his company I’ll use Geschäftsinhaber.
