    Sure would be nice at this point to be ahead of things with regards to solar power and electric cars. Oh well, maybe next time.

      And it’s only the US. Rest of the world is embracing renewables and EVs. We’re becoming our own third world country.

          Actually the concept referred to the way the cold war nations where divided.

          1st world refer to the capital ist American aligned nations.

          2nd world is the Soviet aligned nations.

          3rd are this caught in the middle of the power struggle.

      that’s the thing that blows my mind, is we can’t even talk about solar as a supplemental energy solution. the administration in america has been dumb since it’s founding. except my boy teddy, I’d die for Teddy.

    What are these points? I thought maybe percentage points, but it said over 1000 was only 2.33%

      Generic index points. Its in the name (Dow Jones Industrial Index) basically takes the combined value of its component index stocks and divides them by a specific number. The number is calculated and adjusted when companies split or buy back stocks so the indexs keeps consitency.

      If it were a total of 50,000 and dropped 1,000 that would be a 2% drop.
