There are bald eagles in Bodega Bay?! It’s my favorite place in norcal and I spend as much time there as I can, but I’ve never seen one!
Yes! Sightings are no longer classed as “rare” but are not yet “common.” There is a nesting pair often spotted in Laguna de Santa Rosa and another pair at Lake Sonoma in the winter. I’ve gone looking, but haven’t seen either.
This was at north salmon creek beach, but he didn’t stop in, clearly had business somewhere south of there.
