No, you’re not viewed as terrorists. You’re viewed as allies that will get dragged into a war on our side if we get attacked by Russia.
That is not true though because they will not come to our aid, they clearly stated that.
Trump clearly threatened not to come to aid of NATO countries that don’t spend the agreed % of GDP. If he did not intend to come to aid of any NATO country he would leave the alliance.
If it isn’t a 100% guaranteed non-negotiable that they WILL aid their global partners, that it might be conditional, means that it cannot be assumed to be there, and is no longer dependable. It’d just be an ally piling in at best, if we’re lucky and the current goomba-in-chief is a friendly one.

The bases and American soldiers are pretty much hated in Spain. We didn’t even want to be in NATO in the first place, and US international policy is deeply unpopular here.
