Original title (DE): Ich tanz, aber mein Herz weint (I dance, but my heart weeps.)

This documentary explores the rediscovery of a lost body of Jewish musical culture produced in National Socialist Berlin. Between 1933 and 1938, the Jewish-run labels Semer and Lukraphon recorded Jewish artists under the Jewish Cultural Association, until their archives were destroyed during the Nazi pogrom of November 9, 1938. Drawing on recovered shellac records and newly arranged performances, the film reconstructs this silenced musical legacy and examines its enduring cultural and historical significance.
