fwiw I enjoyed the movie but I was laughing my ass off when he was worming down the road. The movement and the fish eyes were very silly.

It was pretty boring unless the monster was on screen. And looked kinda cheap.

Just a metaphor because the salamander-phase looks a bit goofi. I love the movie, one of my favorite.
