no utopic visions to be upheld
Well what’s the point then if there’s no striving for a good alternative?
Rebellion itself could be “the good” alternative.
Rebellion without a vision for the future is a recipe for unmitigated suffering.
The current world is also a recipe for unmitigated suffering.
Also, maybe you are not reading the same things into the pretty short explanation as I do: If you believe that there is no chance for a vastly better future, starting a rebellion and atleast trying to keep it going might be the best you can actually accomplish.
Things are not nearly as bad right for nearly as many people as they could and would be during a rebellion. If there really is no hope for a better future, then maintaining this shit system “might be the best you can actually accomplish”. But I don’t believe that. A better world is possible and we or our descendants will deliver it.
Okay but I still want to at least try to make things better even if I can’t 🤷♂️
Like IMO it helps to have a reason for unmitigated hostility towards capitalism, so that when we succeed in destroying it, we have something cool to do with our remaining time. And obviously we shouldn’t let those reasons become prisons, i.e. we need to be vigilant against “anarcho”-hierarchies developing, but that doesn’t mean we should stop trying for a better world 🏴.
That sounds like a lot more work than just checking out and letting it crumble.
Yeah but breaking it at least restricts carbon emission such that we’ll all die in 150 years instead of 30-50. God I’m black-pilled
I’m so used to seeing the 8-arrow star in association with chaos magic(k), it feels weird to encounter it in other contexts.
This logo is very anus looking.
E pluribus anus translates to ‘out of many old people’ which is accurate we all had grandparents
