I mean all this hand-wringing about Democrats and the American left can’t stand up a functioning party that could win a council race let alone a congressional one. Dems have their flaws, but if half the online left focused their rage posting into actually trying to get a foothold in winnable races (other than voting for Jill Stein every four years) maybe the two party system would be broken by now.

Reducing the condemnation of an openly genocidal entity to “hand-wringing”, and support for said genocide to “flaws”, is on par for the soulless liberal.

throwing accusations on socials instead of actually doing something is on par for a performative online only lefty

“Accusation” doesn’t really apply to something anyone can read lol

You missed with “online only” too

The US isn’t a one-party system. It is silly to think so, like laughably, provably silly. You can say that the parties both kowtow to wealthy interests, undeniably, but to say that both parties are the same is just false. Hundreds of thousands have died around the world because Trump was elected that simply would not have had Kamala been elected. Like… What a silly thing to say.

Can you show where the (minority) Senate Democrats allowed him to disband USAID? Because that has multiple lawsuits tied to it that are trying their best to not do that.

Under Biden they could have used the “nuclear option” (scary talk for majority vote) to prepare for Trump with massive amounts of long-awaited legislation. The New New Deal. That was their chance.

              They choked. Again

It’s actually even more pathetic than that. The Supreme Court ruling which stated that presidents have absolute immunity for acts taken in their capacity as president came in June / July 2024 - during the Biden Administration, not Trump’s.

Sotomayor said, “A hypothetical President who admits to having ordered the assassinations of his political rivals or critics . . . has a fair shot at getting immunity under the majority’s new Presidential accountability model.”

The Supreme Court came right out and said that presidents can assassinate their rivals with no consequences. Democrats didn’t even use that blanket immunity to pursue ruthless investigative tactics that might otherwise be illegal, or to imprison this apparent “existential threat to democracy”, and they certainly did not order him to be assassinated (or did they? jk sorry I love that joke).

They’re all members of the Epstein Class and anyone who believes otherwise is brainwashed.

You’re changing the subject. That’s not stopping the closure of USAID. Please explain how that would stop the closure of USAID under Trump. That is a different issue that I agree should have been done, but that isn’t what I was talking about and you know that.

Like, it is weird that you’re blaming the Democrats under Biden for Trump’s actions. You realize that is, well, dumb. “Why didn’t they guardrail against Trump doing that?” And not “Why did Trump do that?” Do you realize how silly that argument is?

The subject was “They’ll come demanding our votes any day now” with an accompanying meme closing with “both parties should burn”.

Don’t change the subject. It’s weird that you are changing the subject. You do realize that you caterwauling about someone changing the subject while you yourself changed the subject is dumb, don’t you? No, of course not.

All the while pretending that Biden’s hands were tied while in office with a majority in both houses.

He couldn’t even pass a minimum wage increase. He was absolute shit. Accept reality as we know it, not how you wish it was.

USAID was a tool of the oligarchy for regime change. The US creates the circumstances where a country needs aid and is there to provide it with strings attached.

I find it horrifying that performative people like you would care so little about others, and pretend you care about people, but then defend the deaths of hundreds of thousands because of some petty reason. You must realize how much of a horrible person you sound like.

So you are ok with what the US does to places like Cuba, Venezuela, and the entire global south as long as they get rations of food? You’re ok that the US has intervened in nearly every Latin American country by destabilizing their economies and installing puppet dictators as long as they are provided medication to treat the illnesses brought on by US intervention? One of those countries the US interfered with gave us Putin, but thats ok because a democrat did it, right?

Whats horrifying, but not unexpected, is for liberals to defend imperialism and proceed to call themselves an ally to the marginalized

I agree, Trump is doing all of this AND killing hundreds of thousands of people. That is why Trump is worse than Democrats. We agree on that.
