Tea Partiers moving the GOP further to the right is thenatural progression of fascism. There was no effort involved. Trying to reform a party or building it from within? Is a path to failure. People have been talking about reforming party for over 200 years. And the only thing that’s happened is they’ve all moved further to the right.
Nothing will happen when you exist in a two party system. The tea party was used just as any left group will be in the dem side of things. maga will get used until its not convenient just the same. Without the ability to add and remove parties the system in the us is what you see today, a joke.
You can not vote your way out of fascism, the same fascism thats imbedded itself in government. They control all the levers of government and no one that challenges that system will ever be placed in positions of power to threaten it.
No shit, and watching the us try to convince the world they are still a democracy is frustrating. Parties need to be able to die and new ones start other wise you just get a two headed authoritarian system.
You don’t get anywhere by whining about it.
You get somewhere by building political power. Either inside a party or build your own. The tea partiers did it, maga did it. The left can do it.

Gay marriage, the epa, the ada, didn’t come out of nowhere. They were won on the backs of axtivism.
Your claim ignores the real progress that has been made.
All those things are under attack now and might not exist (like right to chose) in the very near future.
Possibly, that’s up to us.
Those issues would have been addressed without electoral politics. They were also addressed before the 1% completely owned politicians
Respectfully, you are wrong on all counts.
