It’s tough because escalation is risky but with Trump capitulation is worse.

China came out better for sticking to their guns but we don’t have have the same bargaining power.

I do appreciate that he’s strengthening our trade ties with Europe and China (less so about China but just trying to be realistic about the cards in front of us).

All that being said, fuck the additional military and AI spending, even if it is all going to Canadian and European firms.
