Yeah, if you were 18 in 1945 and enlisted but didn’t make it through basic training before the war ended, your birth year would be 1927 and you’d be 100 next year. Or if you snuck in underage, say you were a very mature looking 14, then you’d still be 95 (or turning it) this year.
