lemmit.online is blocked by piefed.social (defederated) because of the huge amount of posts that no one reads.

mirroring reddit is one of those things that sounds good in theory but in practice is a terrible idea.

The post text is supposed to be right underneath the “This is an automated archive […]” and the following few links. Dunno if that depends on the subreddit. Or if most posts just don’t contain text as they’re a bare link or image…?! But I see content attached to several posts mirrored by the Lemmit Bot.

I think there’s just a lot of posts with the entire text in the title and it’s just an image or link. I just scrolled through 25 of them and the original doesn’t have any text either. And then there’s some with text and the text gets copied. (Example: https://lemmit.online/post/8076620 )
